YOUR WEDDING MORNING
Your wedding morning is full of excitement, emotions and fun!
Getting ready with your bridal party is such a fun way to start your wedding morning here are a few things to consider…
Timings
Your ceremony time dictates when wedding prep will begin, I like to allocate 1 hour per person to avoid any unnecessary rush.
I avoid doing the Brides makeup last so that there is time for you to get into your wedding dress and spend time with your photographer or talk to your registrar before heading to your ceremony. I will always work with your suppliers to ensure smooth running of your wedding morning.
Music
Ask your venue if they have a speaker or bring one with you and get your favourite tunes blasting. It’s amazing how music can add to the celebration or bring calm to a busy morning.
Food
Eat! Have breakfast and bring snacks to your bridal prep. Wedding mornings can feel long especially if you have a larger bridal party and early start time. I will always do touch ups before your ceremony so don’t worry about your lipstick and eat and drink as much as you need.
Dress
Give yourself plenty of time to get into your wedding dress. Getting into your dress will be the last thing you do before your ceremony so the excitement levels are at all all time high, give yourself extra time and ask your bridal party to check that all tags/hanging loops are removed before getting dressed.
Touch Ups
Your dress is on and you’re almost ready to go. We have time for makeup touch ups where I will check to make sure everything is flawless. I will also leave you a lipstick touch up kit for you to use throughout your wedding day.
